Opening in 2005, Down Under Studios has become an indispensable part of the A-V-A production family. This state-of-the-art digital audio recording facility has played host to national music artists as well as local musicians and corporate advertising clients.

The studio features precise acoustic design and construction to insure that we capture the real performance without coloration or distortion. Our drum booth comes completely equipped with a new Premier 5 piece set that sounds amazing. We can also supply other studio instruments, like guitars, amps, and keyboards at a small additional cost.

The control room is based around the Mackie HDR-24 digital audio recorder. Our console is the Mackie 32-8 and we have 32 tracks of Digidesign Pro-Tools running on a Mac G4 with Digidesign's 002 control surface. Outboard processors are by Lexicon, DBX, TC Helicon, Antares, HR audio and Alesis. All of our CD mastering is done on Alesis ML-9600 professional master CD recorders with the latest software upgrades. In addition, we have legacy equipment including an 8-track Alesis ADAT machine, 8-track Tascam 38 half-inch reel to reel and a two-track Tascam 32 reel to reel machine. Our well stocked microphone cabinet includes Neumann, AKG, EV, Shure, Oktava, Audio-Technica and Sennheiser.

We are a Discmakers Gold Partner and can supply our clients with the highest quality duplication and packaging for their DVD and CD projects. We also offer creative graphic design for CD or DVD labels and jewel case inserts.
